PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING PAIRABOND. BY CREATING AN ACCOUNT OR USING THE APP, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT USE PAIRABOND.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Amplified Image LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the PairaBond mobile application and any related services (collectively, the "Service").

By doing any of the following, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy:

Creating a PairaBond account
Downloading or installing the PairaBond application
Accessing or using any part of the Service
Clicking "I Agree" or any similar acknowledgment during onboarding

If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a couple account, you represent that both partners agree to be bound by these Terms. Each partner must individually accept these Terms to use the Service.

2. Eligibility

To use PairaBond, you must:

Be at least 18 years of age
Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
Not be prohibited from receiving services under the laws of the United States or your applicable jurisdiction
Not have been previously terminated from PairaBond for a violation of these Terms

PairaBond is not designed for or directed at individuals under the age of 18. If you are under 18, you may not use this Service. If we discover that an account has been created by a person under 18, we will terminate that account immediately.

3. Description of Service

PairaBond is a 52-week digital relationship coaching application designed to help couples develop relational skills, strengthen connection, and grow together. The Service includes:

An onboarding relationship assessment generating a personalized couple profile
A structured 52-week curriculum delivered through weekly individual and couples sessions
AI-personalized coaching prompts, session questions, and reflection content
Downloadable weekly session PDFs
A shared couple dashboard for tracking progress across the 52-week journey
Push notifications and in-app reminders

PairaBond is a self-guided relationship coaching tool. It is NOT a licensed mental health service, therapy platform, crisis service, or substitute for professional counseling. See Section 8 for the full disclaimer.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes where practicable.

4. Account Registration & Couple Accounts

4a. Individual Accounts

To access PairaBond, you must create an individual account. You agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
Maintain and promptly update your account information
Keep your password confidential and not share account access with any other person
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

4b. Couple Accounts

PairaBond is designed as a shared experience. When you link your account with a partner to form a couple account:

Both partners must independently create accounts and accept these Terms
You consent to sharing certain data with your partner as described in our Privacy Policy
You represent that your partner is aware of and consents to the shared account structure
Each partner retains their individual account and data if the couple account is dissolved

Linking your account with another person does not create any legal partnership, endorsement, or relationship status between the parties. PairaBond is a coaching tool only.

4c. Account Security

You are responsible for all activity under your account. We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security. We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe have been compromised.

5. Subscriptions, Billing & Refunds

5a. Subscription Plans

Access to the full PairaBond experience requires a paid subscription. Current subscription plans, pricing, and features are described within the application and on our website. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time with reasonable advance notice to existing subscribers.

5b. Billing & Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your selected plan). By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.

5c. Free Trials

We may offer free trial periods for new users. At the end of a free trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends. We will remind you before a trial converts to paid.

5d. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the app's Settings > Subscription section, or through the App Store / Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to the Service through the end of your paid period.

5e. Refunds

Except where required by applicable law, subscription fees are non-refundable. If you believe a billing error has occurred, please contact us at support@pairabond.com within 30 days of the charge. Refund requests for App Store or Google Play purchases are governed by Apple's or Google's respective refund policies.

5f. Payment Processing

Payments are processed through third-party payment processors (Stripe, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or similar). By providing payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method. We do not store full payment card details.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use PairaBond only for its intended purpose: personal relationship coaching and growth. You agree that you will NOT:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Harass, abuse, or harm another person through the platform
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account or system
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service
Create fake accounts or impersonate any person
Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code
Use the Service to solicit or market to other users
Share your account credentials with any third party
Circumvent or disable any security or access control features
Use the Service in any way that could damage or overburden our systems
Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any part of the Service

Violation of these acceptable use standards may result in immediate account suspension or termination, at our sole discretion.

7. User Content

7a. Your Content

PairaBond allows you to submit content including assessment responses, open-ended reflections, and session answers (collectively, "User Content"). You retain ownership of all User Content you submit.

7b. License to Us

By submitting User Content, you grant Amplified Image LLC a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and use your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service, including generating personalized coaching content for you. This license does not permit us to sell your User Content or use it in ways unrelated to your personal experience.

7c. Your Representations

By submitting User Content, you represent and warrant that:

The content is your own original expression and does not infringe any third-party rights
Submitting the content does not violate any applicable law
The content does not contain material that is defamatory, obscene, or harmful to others

7d. Aggregate & Anonymized Data

We may use anonymized, aggregated, de-identified data derived from user interactions to improve the Service, train internal curriculum models, and conduct research on relationship patterns. This data will not identify you or your partner individually.

8. Relationship Coaching Disclaimer

THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT SECTION OF THESE TERMS. PLEASE READ IT CAREFULLY.

PairaBond is a self-guided relationship coaching application. It is not a licensed mental health service, therapy platform, psychological treatment program, or crisis intervention service.

Specifically, you acknowledge and agree that:

PairaBond does not provide therapy, counseling, psychiatry, psychology, or any other licensed mental health service.
The content delivered through PairaBond — including AI-generated prompts, coaching questions, and curriculum content — is educational and reflective in nature. It is not a substitute for professional mental health treatment.
PairaBond coaches, content creators, and AI systems are not licensed therapists or mental health professionals.
If you or your partner are experiencing serious mental health concerns, domestic violence, substance abuse issues, trauma, or any crisis situation, you should seek the help of a qualified mental health professional or contact emergency services immediately.
The 52-week curriculum is designed for couples who are in a functional relationship and seeking growth — it is not designed to treat, diagnose, or manage clinical mental health conditions.
Results from using PairaBond are not guaranteed. Relationship growth depends on individual effort, commitment, and circumstances beyond the control of the Service.

9. AI-Generated Content

PairaBond uses artificial intelligence to personalize coaching prompts, session questions, and curriculum content based on your relationship profile and assessment data. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

AI-generated content is intended to be thought-provoking and educational — it is not professional advice
AI may occasionally generate content that is imperfect, unexpected, or not well-suited to your specific situation
You should use your own judgment in evaluating AI-generated content and discussing it with your partner
We review and improve AI content over time but cannot guarantee the accuracy or appropriateness of every output
AI-generated content does not represent the views or opinions of Amplified Image LLC as definitive guidance

We will disclose when content has been AI-generated within the application experience. If you encounter AI-generated content that concerns you, please report it through the in-app feedback feature.

10. Intellectual Property

10a. Our Intellectual Property

The PairaBond application, curriculum, brand, logo, design, code, AI systems, weekly content, session structures, scoring methodologies, and all other elements of the Service (excluding User Content) are the exclusive intellectual property of Amplified Image LLC, protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use only. This license does not include the right to:

Copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service
Create derivative works based on the Service or its content
Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code
Use PairaBond's brand, name, or logo without written permission
Commercially exploit any part of the Service or its content

10b. Downloadable Content

Weekly PDF materials generated through the Service are licensed for your personal use within your couple relationship only. They may not be distributed, published, reproduced, or used in any commercial or group setting without written permission from Amplified Image LLC.

10c. Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use that feedback for any purpose without compensation or attribution to you.

11. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using PairaBond, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

In particular, by creating a couple account and using PairaBond, you acknowledge and consent to:

Sharing certain relationship profile data and session responses with your linked partner as described in the Privacy Policy
The processing of your open-ended assessment responses for AI personalization
The use of anonymized aggregate data for product improvement

12. Third-Party Services

PairaBond integrates with third-party services including payment processors, cloud infrastructure providers, AI language model APIs, and analytics platforms. Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for the practices, content, or reliability of third-party services. Links to third-party content or services within PairaBond do not constitute endorsement by Amplified Image LLC.

App Store purchases (iOS) and Google Play purchases (Android) are subject to Apple's and Google's respective terms of service in addition to these Terms.

13. Disclaimers of Warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
Warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content
Warranties that defects will be corrected
Warranties that the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components

We do not warrant that PairaBond will improve your relationship, achieve specific relationship outcomes, or be suitable for your particular situation. Relationship outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL AMPLIFIED IMAGE LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY:

Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses
Damages resulting from relationship outcomes, decisions made based on app content, or use of AI-generated coaching material
Damages resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
Damages resulting from any interruption or cessation of the Service

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Amplified Image LLC and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:

Your use of the Service
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
Your User Content
Any dispute between you and your partner arising from your use of PairaBond

16. Term & Termination

16a. Term

These Terms are effective from the date you first accept them and remain in effect until terminated by either party.

16b. Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account through the app's Settings section. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any prepaid subscription fees except as required by applicable law.

16c. Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably determine that you have:

Violated these Terms or our Privacy Policy
Engaged in fraudulent or illegal activity
Provided false information during registration
Acted in a manner that harms other users or the integrity of the Service

We may also terminate or suspend the Service in its entirety with reasonable notice to users.

16d. Effect of Termination

Upon termination of your account:

Your license to use the Service is immediately revoked
Access to your account, session history, and downloaded content will cease
Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including Sections 7, 8, 10, 13, 14, 15, and 17

17. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

THIS SECTION CONTAINS AN ARBITRATION AGREEMENT AND CLASS ACTION WAIVER. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.

17a. Informal Resolution First

Before initiating any formal dispute process, you agree to contact us at support@pairabond.com and give us 30 days to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. Most disputes can be resolved this way, and we are committed to working with you in good faith.

17b. Binding Arbitration

If informal resolution fails, you agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, except as stated below.

The arbitration will be conducted in North Carolina, United States, unless we both agree otherwise. The arbitrator's decision will be final and binding, and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.

17c. Class Action Waiver

YOU AND AMPLIFIED IMAGE LLC AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims.

17d. Exceptions to Arbitration

The following disputes are not subject to arbitration and may be brought in court:

Claims for injunctive or equitable relief to prevent infringement of intellectual property rights
Small claims court disputes that qualify under the applicable small claims threshold

17e. Right to Opt Out

You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to support@pairabond.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. If you opt out, disputes will be resolved in the courts described in Section 18.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. To the extent court proceedings are permitted under Section 17, you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in the state and federal courts located in Wake County, North Carolina.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Service, legal requirements, or business practices. When we make material changes, we will:

Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms
Notify you via in-app notification and/or email at least 14 days before changes take effect
For changes that materially alter your rights or obligations, request your re-acceptance

Your continued use of PairaBond after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree with updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and may cancel your subscription.

20. General Provisions

Entire Agreement — These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Amplified Image LLC regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.

Severability — If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force.

Waiver — Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be deemed a waiver of that right or provision.

Assignment — You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights hereunder without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Force Majeure — We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet outages, government actions, or other force majeure events.

Headings — Section headings in these Terms are for convenience only and have no legal or contractual effect.

Language — These Terms are written in English. To the extent any translated version conflicts with the English version, the English version controls.

Notice — Notices to us should be sent to support@pairabond.com. We may provide notice to you via your registered email address or through in-app notification.
